Editing Experience:
- Editor for academic papers and scholarly journal articles.
- Editor or Assistant Editor for books on a variety of subjects; most recent projects have included a novel and nonfiction works on culture, politics, and religious philosophy.
- Personal Editor for memoirs, lectures, articles, and poetry.
- Writer and Editor for nonprofits. Experience includes grant proposals, press releases, newsletters, fundraising materials, brochures, web page content, and video scripts.
Teaching Experience:
- Twenty years’ experience teaching English, psychology, and social sciences in high school, adult education, and community college settings (traditional classrooms and on-line).
- Ten years of college entrance counseling.
- Six years as a college writing tutor, both in person and on-line.
